early august was ushered in with a visit to one of Mongolia's oldest coal mines, nothing too exciting, but i got this great photo (to the left, one on right is basically what it looks like in the field) of a scene from the repair shop that should belong to a 
horror movie and thought i would post. the following visit, an 8 hour trip out west is much less horrorific. but that'll have to wait for the next post.
