was out herding cows ( which i belive is winking at the camera!) when a colleague asked if she could see the calfs, which were eventually herded into a pen so that she could pet them. I resisted the urge to pet wet bovines. But, as i was walking into the field, i realized that you can take the girl out of new york, but you can't take the ann taylor from the girl. I found myself walking in black ballet slippers through fields of planet size cow manure and reminded myself that only hiking boots are appropriate for anything outside of the office in Mongolia.
